Your Financial Livelihood

If you've had the chance to read through some of the other sections of our site, you know how seriously we take our responsibility to our clients and their families. We strive to continuously raise the standard of expectation clients can rely on year after year.

It's a passion for us to help everyone understand how to take control of their Financial Livelihood. One of the great rewards of living in this country is the ability to thrive and live a lifestyle accordingly. Whether your dreams are about providing great lives for yourself and your family, or about helping to enrich the world around you, or both, we want to help you get there.

Okay, enough preaching. So let's talk about how you make sure you know what to look for in building a game plan to do it. There are a few basics you have to have in place to make that journey manageable. Think about the following:

  • Responsible Cash Flow Management: Do you have a complete understanding of how to set a budget for yourself to allow the ability to build wealth?
  • Understanding how to make your money work: Whether you own a business or not, you should have at least one employee. Your money! It should work for you while you work to make more of it.
  • Support to help you get there: You're not supposed to have to do it on your own! You have a career. Put the right people around you and let them do the work. You should be able to enjoy your life and the rewards of your hard work. Worrying about being able to live your retirement life in quality does not have to be part of the deal.
  • The right Plan for you: This is definitely one of those areas where one size does not fit all! Make certain that your Financial Planner knows you, your family, your risk tolerance, and the special circumstances of your life and your lifestyle. It's crucial to design the right Plan for you.
  • The right Planner as your partner: There is one crucial thing that you must demand before you choose your partner in this life-long pursuit together: THEY MAKE YOU FEEL CONFIDENT AND COMFORTABLE. Life throws us curve balls...Your Financial Planner should not. The most important thing is that you feel like they "get you". If you question whether this connection is there, then find someone else. It's too important to take for granted.
  • The right relationship: You deserve more than just a statement and a promise that your Planner is working for you from day to day. Demand a higher level of support. There should be regular proactive communication. There should be education. You deserve to have frequent contact with your Planner. They should help you understand the fundamental strategy in your Plan. They should know you and how you think. Thus they should be able to tell how much education is needed to make you feel comfortable and informed.

When all is said and done, I learned very early on in my career that if it's wrong at the end, it was wrong at the beginning. PLEASE don't let this happen to you. We're here to help if you think you might need it. You're not alone!!
